Aroma is what makes coffee distinctive from the rest of the beverages. The smell of bitter-sweet taste is very hard to resist. It has the power to calm a stressful mind, wake the sleepy eyes and keep the talks flowing. I never understood why many acquaintances meet in a coffee shop or hangs out hours in small pastry houses not until I entered one myself. I used to elude coffee, I was scared of the stories I heard when I was little. I was told that coffee is addicting and would cause nervous breakdown. When I became older I learned that coffee just like everything else is dangerous when taken too much.
I worked and I started drinking a cup or two weekly of an instant coffee, I did not know of a brewed coffee around that time. I did not know the difference of a coffee from a coffee-maker and the one we mix in a cup with hot water, the ignorant me. I did not like going in to coffee shops because I’m afraid to order something I do not have any idea about and scared too, that I might just embarrass myself. One day a friend of mine introduced me to a Caramel Macchiato and I fell in-love with it. Since then, It made its way to my daily checklist as I battle my way through graveyard shift. If coffee is addicting, then I may be or may be not. It is always such a good idea to think of something to look forward to at work, we have got to have a reason to keep the aroma of our dreams alive somewhere and a cup of coffee is a good start.
