I find it weird when I look at people today. I wonder what their lives are, their worries, are they happy, what do they desire? Humans desire to connect is imminent in today’s world. They leave their houses, unplug their gadgets, put them in their bags, go to a cafe or at the mall to be online again. But it seems contradicting when I am sitting now on the bench with a bunch people and sadly they are not talking. Maybe because they are just there waiting and they become too private on their own affairs, but they are willing to publicly post everything on the internet. It may not be right to eavesdrop, but I love hearing conversations especially when people laugh. I love laughter. Nothing beats the talk, and the eye contact. It can tire us but recharges us all in.
I often sit beside someone who just looks at pictures on their devices, reminiscing great times and savoring again those happy moments. It is important then to make great memories, and it is true what they say-when the going gets tough, those flashes of joy is all someone needs to hold on.
