Why my research job is great for me

Research work brings me back to my student days. I used to dread this type of school work. I hated the idea of surfing and gathering data and put them all together. Little did I realize research work will save me from everything. Here’s why:

1. Knowledge is Power- the more I know information, the better I become at conversation. Feeling intelligent, huh?! 😀

2. It just crossed me and it stuck this time that Nevada is just right next the State of California. I know, right? This is when I traced the trail ride of Cyclist who ride for a cause.

3. I found out that Google can give almost everything you need and more. Privacy is overrated.

4. I can now watch TV series like Breaking Bad and relate to the Winnebago word. A recreational vehicle which most Filipinos like me didn’t know and cannot relate to. What about bahay-kubo? The world is really very diverse and interesting. I found out a family with 12 kids home-schooling the children and live a completely mobile life. I really wish we can do that here.

5. Finding out great bloggers and becoming a fan.

6. Finding books that do not really reach our country because only popular ones get advertised and only a few people really research. If not for this job, I would be sticking to Facebook all day which is really pathetic.

7. I found out about crowd-sourcing, which is really great, and now I’m thinking of trying it out for the Children’s Christmas Party. Amazing?! 🙂

8. I realized Alibaba can be annoying with all the spamming but is a great source for suppliers of all kinds. I also learned how cheap Chinese products are.

9. The internet is a rendezvous for creatures from all walks of life who respects life and shares them passionately. I get to interact with people who loves the most, wants to make a difference and inspires without any great efforts. Thanks to you guys! 🙂

10. I can be online for hours trying to work but still not accomplish so much because I realize that there are too many interesting things on the internet. This is all your fault Internet, whoever made you! :p

I love these two! 🙂

Every one agrees that life is fleeting. And that life is change. It never stays the same. I am a believer of choice, of opportunities embraced and lost, I dictate what happens to me. This makes me hopeful, makes me dream, gives me courage and clears my realm. And I hope to share how change affects my life.
