The morning after we attended a wedding

Yesterday was the longest Monday of my life. I attended and hosted a wedding for my mentor. It was such a special event full of love. It’s so cool that I have a very supportive husband who went there and helped me. I was so tired that I slept with full make up on.

Bringing therapy home

With the recent mosquito infestation here, I feel bad seeing Blyf taking all the biting and scratching. She’s by far the mosquitoes’ favorite. Tuesdays and Thursdays are her therapy days. This is so because STAC (Stimulation and Therapeutic Activity Center), a locally funded facility for children that needed more than just a classroom exposure, cannotContinue reading “Bringing therapy home”

Milk and Dairy Products causes Autism?

I have at least 4 acquaintances who has/fear their child to have autism. This does not include those who did not have the time to share them to me. Why’s that? I often wonder if it’s becoming prevalent because it’s now widely diagnosed? or it being widely spread bringing awareness. Today, I stumbled upon thisContinue reading “Milk and Dairy Products causes Autism?”

#tbt childhood extravaganza-the royal baby

I have started this #throwbackthursday -my version last week, and I am sure having fun at this. At least, for now. <—- that statement is in total reference to my short interest span. Is there such a thing? Okay, so well. This whole commotion about the royal baby who almost everyone is so excited about;Continue reading “#tbt childhood extravaganza-the royal baby”

When Mommy Get Sick

I have never felt this kind of flu all my life. I am light-headed, my bones feel like they are about to break (maybe I am bit exaggerating on this one), my back hurts, my nose is malfunctioning and my brain is blocked. I have had this cold and running nose for days now, butContinue reading “When Mommy Get Sick”

Random “Mommy”

When my daughter was diagnosed with a GDD, I had so many questions. And I stopped seeking for answers. I just told myself to get through things as we go along. At 2 years old Blyf never utter a word Mommy or Daddy. That made me wonder if she has an idea that I amContinue reading “Random “Mommy””

Fear for Dear Life: Why Politicians Rule the World

I was told today that I should just accept how our government/politics work or risk being hurt by an Official’s assassin. This made my blood boil. My daughter was diagnosed with a GDD (Global Developmental Delay) months back. At 2 years old, she only babbles. Together with my husband, we moved to the province andContinue reading “Fear for Dear Life: Why Politicians Rule the World”

Stuff I Run Out Of When The Kids are Here

When my nephew and nieces are here, it’s total chaos. But they are the happy kind of chaos, they bring laughter and adventure. They bring love and inspiration. Their noise is music to my ears, and they make wonderful playmates/babysitter to Blyf. Yesterday, they came here without notice. Their dad is running an errand. LaterContinue reading “Stuff I Run Out Of When The Kids are Here”

How I Became a Work-at-Home Mom

Many have asked me how to land a home-based job. A few asked for referrals and links on where to apply. I have not really thought of writing about it but for a mother like me, an online job is a blessing. It is one of the many advantages of the modern technology that manyContinue reading “How I Became a Work-at-Home Mom”
